Violent Injuries to Females

Violent injuries include all types of physical harm inflicted by one person on another.  Homicides are violent injuries resulting in death.  Data on this page include violent injuries to females only.  "Abuse to Females by Spouse or Partner" refers only to cases in which E-code 967.3 was used as the primary cause of injury code at the time of discharge from the hospital or as the cause of death.
